Against Modern Football

During the seventies a number of clubs adopted a ‘bubble-look’ design for their matchday programmes. We’ve got Walsall, West Bromwich Albion, Leicester City, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Birmingham City and Torquay United. Click each image to get a full-size view.

Each of the clubs used the one design  for numerous issues with the exception of Wolves who produced a different design for each game of their 72/73 campaign. Check ‘em out here - surely one of the best season sets of programmes ever issued by any football club.

There’s also this beauty - the handbook for the 1973 Anglo-Italian Cup
