A Peak District Football Pitch This .. *ahem* .. football pitch, which is marked as a ‘recreation ground’ on some maps can be found just off the A57 Snake Pass near to Alport Bridge in the English Peak District. There’s no pitch markings just a couple of goalposts that have been put up in a field that’s used as sheep pasture .. though the sheep don’t seem to mind. Tip: Click the image to enlarge.
